Bass intensity

Adds low-end weight independently of automatic equalization.

How it works

The bass_db control acts on the low band of the dynamics stage. Its range is 0–2.4 dB, with 1.2 dB used as a listening reference. Presets can change it gradually during a session.

Use and limits

Results depend on the selected profile, source material, input level and distribution chain. Listen at matched loudness and check output after the codec before keeping a preset.
