Fade protection with hold
Preserves gain during intros and endings that should stay quiet.
How it works
During an explicit hold interval, leveling and automatic EQ gains stay constant while detectors keep following the signal. Adaptation resumes from preserved state afterward. Hold timing can come from configuration or the API. Separately, Smart Outro analyzes file endings and coordinates transitions with AzuraCast playout.
Use and limits
Results depend on the selected profile, source material, input level and distribution chain. Listen at matched loudness and check output after the codec before keeping a preset.
