How it works

The adaptive alternative replaces the classic compressors. Its detector follows energy, peaks and dynamic contrast, then adapts each band’s behavior. The aim is an energetic sound with preserved attacks; it does not identify musical genres or speech.

Use and limits

Results depend on the selected profile, source material, input level and distribution chain. Listen at matched loudness and check output after the codec before keeping a preset.
