Controls bass, midrange and treble, with a five-band profile for radio processing.
How it works
The five-band profile distributes compression across lows, low-midrange, mids, presence and highs. Left and right channels share compression gain to preserve stereo placement. It is separate from 1-, 2- or 4-band AGC and can be combined with de-essing, multiband stereo, bass clipping and the Low-IM limiter.
Use and limits
Results depend on the selected profile, source material, input level and distribution chain. Listen at matched loudness and check output after the codec before keeping a preset.
