How it works

AGC follows average level and adjusts amplification gradually within gain and speed limits. Adaptation stops during silence or very quiet input. It belongs to the classic path and is not stacked on top of adaptive mode.

Use and limits

Results depend on the selected profile, source material, input level and distribution chain. Listen at matched loudness and check output after the codec before keeping a preset.
