Dynamics & level

Post-compression leveling

Brings passage levels closer without resetting processing for every song.

How it works

The wideband leveler follows the signal after compression and adjusts common gain within ±9 dB. It uses different upward and downward speeds and freezes adaptation below its signal threshold. It follows RMS; it is not yet a station-wide LUFS loudness regulator.

Use and limits

Results depend on the selected profile, source material, input level and distribution chain. Listen at matched loudness and check output after the codec before keeping a preset.
