Dynamics & level

Final peak control

Controls peaks after tonal and dynamic processing.

How it works

The final stage uses 4× oversampling, lookahead and codec protection. In the current profile, a Low-IM limiter keeps transients cleaner while a restrained bass clipper prevents low frequencies consuming all headroom. The final streaming clipper remains optional and is set conservatively to avoid post-codec distortion.

Use and limits

Results depend on the selected profile, source material, input level and distribution chain. Listen at matched loudness and check output after the codec before keeping a preset.
